Their Goal
e.l.f. Cosmetics was looking for a promotion that would increase their online customer loyalty, as well as increase their average order value. The promotion needed to be price-appropriate and appeal to a large audience nationally, in order to increase sales across the country.

The Solution
e.l.f. decided to offer a free $25 Gift Card to customers who bought over $20 in merchandise. The promotion was emailed to prior customers and advertised on the site. It increased their customer loyalty by incentivizing more orders over time, and drove sales by encouraging larger average order values.

The Results
The promotion brought about a much larger response than was expected and greatly helped e.l.f. Cosmetics increase their average order value and grow their email database of customers.  Due to the success of this promotion, a co-branded redemption site was created to help promote the e.l.f. Cosmetics brand further and provide another tool to help engage their customers.
